- Deron Washington - Washington should have made the Pistons roster last year, but didn't, due to a completely inexplicable turn of events. He subsequently went to the D-League, where he started out with the L.A. D-Fenders and quickly moved to the Tulsa 66ers. In 48 games for Tulsa, Washington averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 rebound, but shooting only 41% from the field, 29% from three, turning it over 1.9 times per game and fouling 3.5 times. - Deron Washington

Washington was drafted by the Pistons with the penultimate pick in the 2008 draft, and signed in 2009. Detroit then waived him before the season started in a move that made absolutely no sense. Washington subsequently went to the D-League - you can afford to do that when an NBA team is cutting you a $250,000 check - and was drafted 3rd overall in the D-League draft by the L.A. D-Fenders. Only 8 games later, Washington was traded to the Tulsa 66ers for backup big man Keith Clark; in 49 combined games between the two teams, Washington averaged 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 26 minutes per game. However, he also shot only 30% from three point range, and also committed 1.9 turnovers per game, a high amount of turnovers for a man who doesn't really dribble.

Note: Non-US teams that the player has played for are, unless stated otherwise, from the top division in that nation. If a league or division name is expressly stated, it's not the top division. The only exceptions to this are the rare occasions where no one league is said to be above the other, such as with the JBL/BJ League split in Japan.
