Much improved in his second D-League season and seems to have caught up slightly with the speed of the game while also developing his skills. May never crack a rotation but certainly a two-way contract candidate.

   NBA Fantasy Preview - 15th November 2017

There is a risk to picking Johnson tonight, because more often than not, he does nothing. And this is because, more often than not, Johnson does not play. Johnson has played only five games, three of which he played less than four minutes in blowout victories. But he starts when regular starter Steven Adams is out, playing an average of 20 minutes per game in those starts, and Adams, still listed as “questionable”, might miss tonight’s game as well. Even when he does start, Johnson does not do a huge amount, averaging 14.4 fantasy points over his two starts, a small return however small the price is. But tonight, the Thunder are playing Dunn’s Bulls, and Dunn’s Bulls are terrible. Theoretically, then, Johnson might get both starters minutes and blowout victory minutes.
