   NBA Fantasy Preview - 10th November 2017

Theis’s minutes have been sporadic all season, ranging from decent to barely existing. But Al Horford has suffered an injury, opening up the need for someone large to at least rebound the ball, and Theis’s minutes have thus increased since the injury. They are likely to stay increased given his production when he gets them; last time out, in a season-high 22 minutes, Theis recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals. He has earned a rotation shot, and while the risk with any player at this price is they put up total goose eggs (in Theis’s case likely due to excessive fouling), he nevertheless should play and contribute in the immediate term for a minimal price.

   NBA Fantasy Preview - 8th December 2017

Theis is productive in whatever minutes he gets. The only question is how many he gets. And the truthful answer is that, right now, it isn’t a lot. But even in only a few minutes, Theis is producing. He has three 20+ fantasy point outings in the last six games, for an average of 18.4 per game. At the spot that is consistently the most difficult to find cheap value fantasy steals at, he is one.
