Ball’s incredibly inconsistent and somewhat wild beginning to his NBA career has nonetheless yield season averages of 11.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game. Those numbers are akin to those of a prime Jason Kidd, and even if the significant stylistic differences and glaring inefficiencies don’t make for a valid comparison overall, that matters not in fantasy, where huge output such as that for such a tiny price make for a massive market inefficiency that should be exploited.

   NBA Fantasy Preview - 25th October 2017

Three games into his NBA career, and Ball is already averaging nearly a triple double. He’s averaged 13.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game, and while he’s scored them very inefficiently, that matters not here. The Lakers are building around Ball and will give him every opportunity he can handle, so expect much the same stat-line again.

   NBA Fantasy Preview - 13th November 2017

With a triple-double in the last game, Ball broke out of a massive shooting slump. He is averaging a unique 9.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game, and considering that the rebounds and assists are more valuable in fantasy play, this is a good thing. He is also contributing 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, the latter an amazing figure for a point guard, and he is great value from a fantasy point of view even at this price due to this versatility.
