   NBA Fantasy Preview - 1st November 2017

Adebayo is starting, but there are no guarantees here. He has started the last three games, and was pretty quiet in the first two. But last time out, Adebayo recorded 13 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes. His strength and athleticism mean he will always do something on the NBA court, primarily rebounding. He just needs to not foul so much to stay on there. [There is also a chance Hassan Whiteside returns tonight; if he does, and with regular member of this column Kelly Olynyk also playing well at centre, Adebayo’s minutes might be cut back to almost nothing again. The story here is pretty much the same as above. Regular starter Hassan Whiteside has had a gimpy knee for a while, finally diagnosed with a bone bruise that will keep him out 1-2 weeks. When this happens, third string centre Adebayo, otherwise out of the rotation altogether, gets the start. And when he starts, he produces. Adebayo averages 8.0 points and 7.3 rebounds as a starter, and averaged 26.1 fantasy points in this weeks two Whiteside-free games, He should be strongly considered here.

Note: Non-US teams that the player has played for are, unless stated otherwise, from the top division in that nation. If a league or division name is expressly stated, it's not the top division. The only exceptions to this are the rare occasions where no one league is said to be above the other, such as with the JBL/BJ League split in Japan.
