   The best of what's left

Alando Tucker - Tucker was waived by the Timberwolves after the deadline in order to go and play in Puerto Rico. He was then waived by his Puerto Rican team for undeperforming. Not a good year. Not a good three years, actually. Tucker played only 51 games and 426 minutes on his rookie contract, most of which were in garbage time, which doesn't give us a whole lot to go on.

The 2010 Puerto Rican BSN Season

Alando Tucker - 6 games, 31.0 mpg, 15.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.2 apg, 2.0 fpg, 0.8 spg, 0.5 bpg, 40% FG, 5% 3PT (1-19), 77% FT

Isabela Cocks started the season with a double team of Pruitt and Green. (Filthy girl.) Green was playing well early, but injured his knee after four games, and missed a couple of games. He returned, but his performance tailed off, and he was released three games later, replaced by Alando Tucker. Tucker was fresh out of the NBA after being waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and after a pretty terrible debut (16 points on 21 shots), he started to play well for the team. However, his performance also began to tail off, totalling only 15 points and 2 rebounds in his final two games with the team, and he was released at the All-Star break after only 6 games. (He was indirectly replaced by his former Wisconsin team mate Greg Stiemsma. The two are pictured above with some lucky girl who needs new jeans.)

Where Are They Now, 2010; Part 67

- Alando Tucker

Tucker started the year with the great news that the Suns were declining his contract option for next season. They then cemented their love for him by salary dumping him onto Minnesota for the unguaranteed salary of Jason Hart, who they immediately waived. And tofurther compound his difficult season, Tucker played in only 4 games for the Timberwolves before being waived after the playoff deadline date. He immediately (and not coincidentally) signed in Puerto Rico with Gailitos de Isabela, and averaged 18.8 points and 8 rebounds in his first four games. However, Tucker recorded only 15 points and 2 rebounds over the next two games combined, and he was released late last month. He will attend summer league this season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Note: Non-US teams that the player has played for are, unless stated otherwise, from the top division in that nation. If a league or division name is expressly stated, it's not the top division. The only exceptions to this are the rare occasions where no one league is said to be above the other, such as with the JBL/BJ League split in Japan.
