   2017 NBA Manifesto

Russell Westbrook
PG, 6’3, 200lbs, 28 years old, 9 years of experience

MVP! MVP! MVP! Make whatever arguments you want to make about how the rebounds meant slacking off defensively, about the arbitrary nature of his achievement, about the many forced shots, about the astro-nomical usage rate…..do it all at your leisure.    NBA Fantasy Preview - 3rd December 2017

Westbrook has been as expensive as expensive can be in the game all season, because of course he has. Well, he’s warmed up now. In light of his team’s struggles, Westbrook has returned more to the heroic if flawed style of play he employed to get those triple doubles, playing the freight train basketball he and only he can play, and his fantasy lines reflect that. Averaging 59.6 fantasy points over the past seven games, we are back to peak Westbrook, and it is OK to buy on him again.

Note: Non-US teams that the player has played for are, unless stated otherwise, from the top division in that nation. If a league or division name is expressly stated, it's not the top division. The only exceptions to this are the rare occasions where no one league is said to be above the other, such as with the JBL/BJ League split in Japan.
