Will Saunders
Saunders is a fairly one-dimensional player, that one dimension being that of a three point shooter. Aside from this, plus good energy attacking the glass, he offers little. The question thus becomes can he be effective enough in this limited style to have a good European (and, by virtue of being British, an international) career.
What Saunders certainly doesn't lack for is offensive aggression. He is always prepared to shoot and indeed pretty much shoots on every catch. Indeed, if he's not setting a screen, catch and shooting from the wings is pretty much all he's doing on offense. He's not creating or shooting off the dribble, just raising up and shooting. Saunders is able to do this because of his good size, a sturdy 6'7, size which also has seen him spent much of his college career having to defend the paint. With no great wingspan, above average strength or instincts to protect the rim, this didn't go very well - then again, lacking for lateral speed to adjust and stay in front of the perimeter, his wing defense is not especially meaningful either.
Ultimately, all that matters is how well he shoots it. The 41% shooting as a senior is a good start. But the pro game is going to be faster, so Saunders will need to adjust. Already an international, he's going to get a lot of game time in future years, so he'll have plenty of chances to prove himself going forward.
